What is the Terre Haute Rotary Foundation?
The Foundation was created through donations by club members to provide support for both club-related and community activities.
Terre Haute Rotarians sponsor the Terre Haute North High School Interact Club. Each year, two graduating members of Interact receive the James Rentschler Memorial Scholarship from the Terre Haute Rotary Club. In addition, we sponsor five Interact members to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership program
Foundation Grants
Grants ranging from a few hundred dollars to $1,000 are distributed to a variety of non-profit organizations that help the needy, create art or music programs, and develop educational activities for our public schools. The club’s grants committee reviews requests and submits their decisions to the club’s Board of Directors for approval. Any non-profit organization that does not discriminate in any fashion is eligible to apply for a grant.
